Sales Account Manager (Calibrations)

Salary:            $75K to $95K

Commission: Year one additional $25K+

SUMMARY

The company is seeking a Sales Account Manager to join their growing team in their South Jersey and SEPA territory! Desired Experience

  • Experience in cold calling and opening new accounts (hunter sales)
  • Self-starter, entrepreneurial spirit, attention to detail, well organized and strong problem-solving abilities
  • Prepare action plans and schedules to identify specific targets and to project the number of contacts to be made
  • Follow up on new leads and referrals resulting from field or inside sales activity
  • Identify sales prospects and contact these and other accounts as assigned
  • Prepare presentations, proposals, and sales contracts
  • Develop and maintain sales materials and current product knowledge
  • Establish and maintain current client and potential customer relationships
  • Manage account services through quality checks and other follow-up
  • Identify and resolve customer concerns
  • Prepare weekly status reports, including activity, closings, follow-up, and adherence to goals
  • Communicate new product and service opportunities, special developments, information, or feedback gathered through field activity to appropriate company staff
  • Coordinate with necessary department heads to complete quotes and close sales

Requirements

  • A minimum of 1-3 years outside/ field sales experience
  • Mechanical / Technical / Electrical understanding
  • Passion for meeting customers in the field and creating hands-on experiences
  • Effective utilization of time, energy and resources- including Salesforce
  • Understanding of quality systems and practices (i.e., ISO 17025)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Capable of daily out of town travel (throughout the territory)
  • Willingness to be part of a customer support team
  • Self-motivated and can work independently to achieve goals
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and authorized to work in the U.S.
