Personal Lines Account Manager (Insurance)

Comp:         Base Salary: Competitive

Position Summary:

This position is responsible for servicing P&C Personal Lines clients and marketing efforts for P&C Personal Lines prospects.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provides customer service for P&C Personal Lines clients and prospects
  • Conducts regular follow-ups with underwriters as it pertains to the submission status
  • Assembles proposals
  • Tracks and completes all renewals
  • Responsible for all client service work to include Endorsements, auto ID cards, insurance summaries, policy processing and general client follow up
  • Responsible for renewal retention and cross selling
  • Maintains automation system in a paperless environment
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Essential Requirements for Education and/or Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or 3 to 5 years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 3 years’ experience in personal lines sales or service
  • PA P&C license

Specialized Knowledge/Beneficial Skills and Experience:

  • Working knowledge of the EPIC/ TAM (Applied Agency Management System Software)
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills, including strong negotiating skills
  • Strong organization and analytical skills
  • Ability to perform detailed administrative tasks (i.e., Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Must be client focused and service oriented
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Knowledge of personal lines comparative rating system a plus
