Salary:            $120K to $130K

The company is seeking an experienced Controller with a background in the luxury goods industry. This is a Full-Time position located in Philadelphia, PA or New York, NY.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Oversee inventory and accounting systems.
  • Review purchases and memos; confirm costs and ownership percentages are correct; ensure data matches between internal inventory system and QuickBooks.
  • Develop and deliver accurate weekly reports.

  • Aged Inventory

  • Cash Flow Projection
  • Create and maintain a system to show profitability on all sales.
  • Clarify agreements with each partner; review to ensure accuracy; provide visibility into profit for each deal.
  • Collaborate with the Director of CRM
    • Establish data entry protocols; ensure data integrity; extract data for reports; assist in analyzing and interpreting data for decision-making purposes.
  • Collaborate with the finance team.
    • Assist in reconciling financial data; creating and utilizing reporting templates and dashboards; and in streamlining data management processes.

Job Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years in an accounting position in the luxury goods industry
  • In-depth experience with data management and analysis specifically within the luxury goods industry
  • Proficient in working with industry-specific software systems, including inventory management software and finance software, to ensure accurate data management and reporting.
  • Prior experience working with executives and cross-functional teams to ensure accurate data entry.
  • Familiarity with financial reporting and its underlying data requirements.
  • Proficient in data extraction and manipulation using and merging data between two software systems.
