Business Development Representative (Loyalty Program Solutions)

Comp:             Base $60K-$65K with bonus: $15K-$20K year one

Position Overview

Due to tremendous growth, our client is seeking an outgoing and confident Business Development Representative to join their dynamic team. Ideal for someone with a go-getter attitude and a willingness to learn. This role offers the unique opportunity to dive into the gift/loyalty and rewards card business. Must have prior sales experience, particularly in prospecting and partnership development. Must be eager to grow, learn, and contribute to the team. Offering a competitive compensation package ranging from $60K to $65K plus bonuses, they are ready to invest in someone who is passionate about making an impact in a flexible and evolving sales environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Engage in proactive prospecting to identify potential customers, resellers, technology partners and new franchise groups, using a blend of cold calling and strategic outreach.
  • Leverage HubSpot CRM for lead management, with a focus on nurturing prospects and efficiently tracking sales activities.
  • Collaborate on the development and optimization of sales strategies, with an openness to test, learn, and refine approaches.
  • Aim to meet or exceed sales targets through diligent effort and a keen focus on new business opportunities.
  • Embrace a culture of continuous improvement, contributing ideas and feedback to enhance sales processes and tactics.

Qualifications

  • A proactive and positive attitude, with a genuine willingness to learn and adapt.
  • A minimum of 1 year sales experience is required, especially in technology or payment solutions, but not a requirement.
  • Interest in developing skills in prospecting, HubSpot experience, CRM management, and partnership building.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with potential clients and partners.
  • A team player who values collaboration but is also capable of working independently.
